 Data Security

  Due to global security requirements, data security has become a major concern for companies and organizations. We ensure the protection of your data, from its initial collection to final destruction or re-deployment.

  By utilizing our customized DARE Track and Trace system, we are capable of safeguarding all of your electronic hardware and data-bearing equipment before collection. We monitor your equipment throughout the collection and receiving process, providing you with real-time progress reports. If the customer wishes, the DARE system allows them direct access to all stages of the ITAD process without having to wait for ITR to submit reports. The security level of data wiping or hardware destruction is determined by the customer, and full reports with proof of destruction can be provided.

 Compliance

  All of your ITAD equipment is processed in accordance with both national and international standards. The items that cannot be refurbished are scrapped, and the final destruction and separation is performed at our e-waste processing site in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.

  All data bearing equipment is data wiped to Infosec 5 or IS5. Upon completion of the drive erasure process, an encrypted and secured PDF Erasure report is generated, containing the drive's model, serial number, erasure date, methods employed, and a health report of the device.

Value recovery

  By erasing rather than destroying your hard drives, they can either be redeployed within your organisation or resold, providing a highly effective solution for destroying data and ensuring value recovery. 

  Drive erasure also reduces the risks and costs associated with returning leased equipment. We work with our clients to simplify the return of leased equipment and avoid unnecessary chargebacks. Our services include repair, cosmetic refurbishment, removal of company-applied asset tags, data erasure, and packing and shipping of leased equipment back to the leasing company.

    Equipment that cannot be repaired is disposed of, and the scrap value is remunerated for the Beyond Economical Repair (BER) equipment. Overall, the customer is compensated for all ITAD equipment, ensuring best value recovery.

Reporting

  ITR guarantees complete digital data destruction and provides certificates of recycling as well as certificates of data destruction, regardless of the method used. DARE provides full, detailed reports, plus the customer can specify additional reporting requirements as well.

 By utilising DARE, ITR can furnish comprehensive Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reports as mandated by both local and international regulations.
